Formerly the owner of his own full service real estate brokerage firm in Cincinnati, Ohio, Al has also served as Senior Vice President of The Prudential Real Estate Affiliates. Most recently, as Senior Vice President of Fred Sands REALTOR® which was the fifth largest independent brokerage company in the United States.
Al is past President and Chairman of the Board of the REALTORS NATIONAL MARKETING INSTITUTE and past President of the Real Estate Brokerage Manager’s Council, as well as past member of the RNMI Board of Directors and Management Team. Al is past President of the Cincinnati Board of REALTORS® and has chaired or served on almost all the committees on the local and state level. He is a past chairman of numerous NAR committees and has served on the Executive Committee, as well as being a NAR Director.
Al has been honored as both Cincinnati and Ohio Associate and REALTOR® of the Year. He has been honored as the Instructor of the Year for large states by the National Association of REALTORS® and, subsequently, as the Educator of the Year by NAR. He was also presented with the first Golden Eagle Award for being outstanding instructor of the CRB faculty.
Al holds Master Instructor status on The Managers Council faculty. He was technical advisor for the book Real Estate Office Management; People Functions and Systems and editor of the book Readings In Management For The Real Estate Executive. He has spoken in all 50 states, as well as foreign countries, including being the key note speaker at three FIABCI (international real estate) conferences, and has served as a consultant and a coach to real estate firms throughout the world.

Ed Schmidt started his real estate career in 1986 as a sales associate. In 1991 he became the office manager for a Better Homes and Gardens franchise and that is where his passion for consulting started.
In July 1999, Ed started his own company; with his partners he has taken the company to 350 agents in 5 years.
In addition, Ed has earned the designations of CRS in 1993, GRI in 1989 and has been a Broker since 1994. He has served on several committees including; a local Board of REALTORS® President; Chaired a MLS; Chaired Professional Standards Committees; and is one of only a handful of people in the history of NAR to be chosen as a local board “REALTOR® of the Year” three times.

After several successful years selling residential properties, he ventured into the training field, where he has served as the national Trainer for a major International real estate firm. Layne was awarded the coveted "Senior Trainer" designation held by only three other training professionals for that organization in the entire USA.
Layne has taught hundreds of seminar programs throughout the country. His repertoire of subjects includes technical subject areas, sales skills training and management development programs. He has served as a Training Consultant and Trainer to several brokerage firms in the Bay Area and continues to provide coaching and mentoring programs for his clients.

Rhonda’s real estate career began with the purchase of her first investment property at the age of 18. By the age of 22 Rhonda had built two speculative homes, developed a small subdivision, and owned 7 investment properties. Rhonda has been licensed as a sales person since 1987 and a Broker since 1989. Rhonda began her selling career at the age of 23 working 5 years on her own before meeting her husband, Jerry.
Jerry and Rhonda were married in 1993 and shortly thereafter Jerry became licensed and joined Rhonda forming the “Overberg Team” beginning. Rhonda was closing 70 transactions alone when her newly licensed husband joined her. During the first year Rhonda knew they must double her production to meet the financial challenges of raising 5 children. In their first year as a team, with Jerry newly licensed, they closed 138 units.
Over the next few years the team evolved into more Agents where they consistently closed in excess of 200 transactions per year, ranking in the top Teams in their Region each year.
In 2001 Rhonda & Jerry opened their first office and since that time the company has grown to three locations, with their company holding one of the very highest closed transactions average per Associate in the St. Louis area.
